BRAND TO WATCH: Kuyichi
In 2000 the founders of Kuyichi, NGO Solodaridad, wanted to introduce organic cotton in the clothing industry in order to improve the working and living conditions in developing countries. Being fair, being real and inspire other to do the same. That's Kuyichi's philosophy!

Closet lessons
How many times did you open your closet thinking "I have nothing to wear"? If you're closet is even slightly similar to the picture below...it's time to clean out your closet!
1. To get started, let's begin with the easiest part: checking the quality of your items. If they have any armpit stains, worn-out, pilling, over-washed colours or faded prints, they need to go.
2. Picking out the items you haven't worn since a year. If you didn't wear them since a while, you're not likely going to!
Some items can be reinvented; change the colour, add new cute buttons or turn your jeans into shorts. It doesn't always ask for great skills with needle and thread but the result is awesome!
If you don't feel like reinventing some pieces, instead of throwing away your once-loved items: organize a swap party with your friends or bring the clothes to the local thrift shop or church. They will be more than happy!
3. Throwing away wrong size clothes; any stuff that isn't your right size...OUT! From smaller size skirts cause you want to lose weight till bigger size pants, cause they came in sale; they don't flatter you, you probably don't even wear those so it's time to make space.
4. Double items; do you really need five exact the same black skirts? If you have the tendency to shop for similar clothing, keep two of your favorite twin black skirts and try to buy something different! Who knows if all this time you went for a familiar item when you also look great in other colours/models? Try it!
5. So how are we doing? Already gaining some space in your closet? Do you have some items, a pair of shoes or a t-shirts that you're nostalgic about and you're not ready yet to throw those away? Allow yourself a box where you put those pieces in...next time you clean out your closet (and your box) you might be ready, or you can reinvent them!
6. Now you have made space, it's time to organize the clothing. In an ideal closet all similar items go together; skirts, pants, shirts and so on. Try also organizing by colour, it will save you time in the morning!
7. So, you've finished and I would say "Great job"! During this clean'up mission you've noticed the weak points in your wardrobe, now it's time to make a list of the important items that you're missing and let's go shopping!
